Monopoli Gallery presents Invisible: a solo exhibition of  Toba Toba Argentine visionary group. The exhibition offers a fantastic journey into the center of Toba galaxy described by videos, dioramas and installations suggestions. Toba Toba is the name of the group formed by Amelia Eguia and Julian Mantel – both natives of Buenos Aires – which was founded in 2006 and currently works in Milan. The Toba Toba works photograph life moments on Umbi planet: a mysterious world populated by beings with extrasensory skills. The artistic research of Argentine group focuses its interest on the sensory involvement of the visitor who is projected into an unexpected fantastic world. The exhibition’s aim is to explore the idea of “invisibility” as primordial creative process which gives origin to everything. Invisible path is the way to describe, through multisensory stimuli, the dark force that generates life by peering at everyday life in an unknown world. (press release extract)
