Monopoli Gallery presents the solo exhibition of the painter Davide Corona (Piacenza 1981): Rocce, Carcasse e altre cose, a path that reflects on the everyday life images through the young artist pictorial research. Corona’s research, which previously was confirmed by a coherent descriptive realism, now investigates on the changeable image of reality, an inevitable representation of our time. The choice of the title summarizes the current moment in the Corona’s artistic life. The figurative presence, like a solid rock anchored in the painter’s memory, interacts with the image of reality mutability described by a versatile painting which collects different approaches to figuration.
